If you did not buy “refundable tickets”, which are more expensive but from which you do get your money back due to cancelLation, cancellation fee will be added.

Cancellation fee goes anywhere from $50 to $300, depending on the airline company, on how long before the flight ticket is cancelled and if the flight was supposed to be domestic or international.
Cancellation of the ticket also depends on the payment method.
